Christina sets INSTEL’s strategic direction and leads its growth, drawing on more than 15 years of experience across healthcare, law, and compliance. Her experience includes intellectual property work, life sciences corporate practice at DLA Piper, and compliance work at Pfizer, where she supported global R&D and corporate risk management.

Christina holds a master’s in biotechnology from Columbia University, a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, and a bachelor’s in biochemistry from the University of Texas.

Chief Technology Officer, INSTEL

Shivas sets INSTEL’s technology strategy and leads its platform architecture, engineering, and data practice. A deep learning practitioner and educator with decades of experience in solution architecture and data science, he has designed and delivered AI-driven systems across manufacturing and technology.

Shivas holds a master’s in data science from Harvard University, a bachelor’s in business management from Coker University, and a bachelor’s in computer engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.

Swarnava Bhattacharjee

Founding Engineer, Product & AI Agents

Swarnava brings expertise in product design, AI agent development, and evaluation to INSTEL’s customer experience. He shapes INSTEL’s multi-agent systems, product quality and optimization. His computer vision research has appeared in Scientific Reports, and he has published work on language models for scientific literature.

Swarnava holds a master’s in data science from Liverpool John Moores University, a postgraduate degree in data science from IIIT Bangalore, and a bachelor’s in physics from the University of Calcutta.

Karthik Rathod

Karthik Rathod

Founding Engineer, AI Infrastructure & Security

Karthik specializes in AI platform architecture, with expertise spanning agent orchestration, cloud infrastructure, security, and access control. He shapes the systems that support INSTEL’s agents in production. His published research covers robotics and language models for scientific literature.

Karthik holds a master’s in computer science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science.

Vrishbhanu specializes in data engineering and retrieval for AI systems grounded in legal and regulatory information. He shapes INSTEL’s data validation, model fine-tuning, and production compliance workflows. His research background includes clinical prediction models built from patient records over time.

Vrishbhanu holds a bachelor’s in economics from Hindu College, University of Delhi, and an MITx MicroMasters in statistics and data science.
